Tournament Format

🏆 Group Stage + Knockout Stage

Top 2 or 3 players from each group advance to the knockout stage.

 • Matches are best 2 out of 3 sets

 • Third set is a 10-point super tie-breaker (first to 10, win by 2), unless both players agree to play a full set

Match Scheduling Rules

⚠️ Most matches are scheduled within the first 2–3 days of the scheduling window. Waiting until the deadline day often results in a double walkover.

Each match has a 7-day scheduling window. Players must contact their opponent and play the match before the “Play By” deadline shown in the bracket.

Players are responsible for contacting their opponent and agreeing on a time and location.

Matches may be played at any mutually agreed courts. If players cannot agree, the match must be played at the default location.

Scheduling Expectations

To ensure matches are completed on time, players must follow these guidelines:

  1. Contact your opponent within 24 hours of receiving the match notification.
  2. Propose at least two different time options.
  3. Players should try to schedule early in the match window, not only on the deadline day.
  4. Communication should continue until a match time is confirmed.
  5. If a player does not respond within 48 hours, follow up again and keep a record of your messages.

Screenshots of texts, emails, or WhatsApp messages may be requested if there is a dispute.

Extensions

Extensions may be granted if:

  • Both players agree
  • There were good-faith efforts to schedule the match
  • The request is made before the deadline

Extensions are normally limited to 1–2 days.

No-Play Policy

If a match is not played and no extension was granted, one of the following outcomes will apply:

Win by Scheduling Effort

The player or team that made earlier and stronger efforts to schedule the match will advance.

Effort is determined by:

  • Initiating contact early in the match window
  • Proposing multiple dates/times
  • Being flexible with location
  • Responding promptly to messages

Double Walkover

If both teams failed to make reasonable efforts to schedule, the match will be recorded as a double walkover.

Important Scheduling Rule

Initiating contact only on the final day of the scheduling window is generally not considered sufficient effort.

Players are expected to start scheduling early in the window to allow enough time to coordinate the match.

Non-Responsive Opponents

If your opponent does not respond:

  1. Send at least two messages on different days
  2. Offer multiple time options
  3. If no response is received, contact the tournament director before the deadline

Providing screenshots will help resolve the situation quickly.

Score Reporting

The winner of the match must report the score on the website immediately after the match.
